![]() All my previous kydex holsters (which I have boxes of from IDPA, USPSA, etc) all make that reassuring 'kydex clack' sound when you snap the pistol into the mold lines, this doesn't. Overall the entire holster is very obvious when worn, completely defeating the purpose of being a CCW holster.ģ) It doesn't seem to have positive retention. The included and removable 'Raptor Claw' which is a plastic piece that cants the entire holster further into the stomach (flaring out the bottom of the holster) further exacerbates the printing and comfort concerns. As referenced above, there seems to be far more kydex than needed to provide support and rigidity to the holster, which makes the holster print more than needed and, the biggest issue, the 'sidecar' part of the extra magazine is bent at a very acute angle that makes the entire holster jut away from my body while also driving the magazine up and into my stomach. Not a big deal in and of itself, I subscribe to the 'carrying a firearm should be comforting, not comfortable' approach, but it's something never noted in previous reviews.Ģ) It's very bulky. I've used Kydex holsters before, both IWB and OWB, but this mold is huge and takes up a lot of space in the waistband. The fit and finish and quality of the build of the holster is impeccable.ġ) It's plain not comfortable. Their shipping/lead time was half what was promised All the emails I sent were answered within an hour or two during normal business hours and answered all my questions to the T. Their pre-sale customer support is fantastic. $150 for the T-Rex Arms holster seemed high, but I was willing to pay a little extra to get something Capital P Perfect, and thought this was the ticket from the rave reviews I found about them. I've traditionally used the Glaco Ultimate 2nd Amendment series, especially since they allow me to tuck in my dress shirts when carrying. I've always carried Appendix, I'm a tall, skinny guy and can make it work very well. So I recently received a sidecar AIWB Holster from T-Rex Arms for my RMR Glock with TLR-1 and Comp and was very excited to get something to start carrying it concealed.
